Talking

Hi All

I have been using the old SOCOM headset on account of it works and its free, but figure now I actually have SitRep Pro it may be worth getting a headset if it might make a difference.

Is there a headset that actually helps with the direction the sound/footsteps are coming from? I know headsets have been talked about before, but they were recommended over earpieces/bluetooth kits more than actually recommending which set might be best.

Look forward to hearing from you.
Cheers

Okay so before anyone corrects me the title should say "Headset Recommendations".

Since I am too lazy to search for you...there are seriously like 5 threads on this already.

Depending on what price range you are looking at Earforce PX21's are good for PS3, 360 and PC/Mac. These run around $70.

Turtle Beach PX21 Review
Full Review by one of our mods.

Edit: Mis-Spelling is actually misspelling, oh the irony

Ooh another Socom gamer, did you play Socom II man? If so what were your names? Socom headsets were great, the logitech ones broke every few months, lol.

Steelseries Siberia v2, if you can afford it (£60).

If not, PX21s.

Me and my bro use a Turtlebeach PX21 on our Ps3. It's an absolutely incredible headset--not like the cheapie "chat only" Socom headsets. The PX21 has incredible sound quality and tons of extra features built in too.

The Siberia only for PC. Plus, Steelseries is nowhere near as good as Turtlebeach. It's not even a close comparison--the PX21 absolutely blows away a Siberia. (Works on the 360 and PC too).

^ Making a presumption based on old and unreliable evidence, nevertheless.

I wouldn't buy another Jeep if my current one crapped out on me/sucked.
