The only smg's I like a silencer on are the Vector and the UMP.

For the Mp5K I prefer FMJ or Ext mags.
P90's I like akimbo or FMJ
Uzi's I like rapid fire, akimbo, fmj, or ext mags.

I wouldn't use fmj on an SMG, they have the lowest penetration, so you shouldn't really be shooting people through buildings with it

Having the lowest penetration is exactly why you put FMJ on it. You don't set out to shoot people through surfaces, but if you end up doing so you'll be glad you have FMJ on.

FMJ/Extended Mags are the best attachments since its a medium to close range weapon. You have to bear in mind that the vector is the weakest primary weapon in the game but also the fastest firing so a silencer wil only make it even weaker.

Because of its r.o.f i use extended mags with it all the time so that i don't run out of bullets in a tight situation and for the nice multi-kill sprays.

I try, and succeed, in doing well quite frequently with the MP5K w/ Ext. Mags.

Silencer for stealth, holographic for a running non-stealth class, and thermal sight for an automatic midrange sniper in hardcore (can be accurately used to the same distance of a holographic sight AR...ish)

Get used to all iron sights and use a silencer. The only guns I use sights on are the burst weapons m16 and Famas. From time to time Red dot on the ACR is a sweet choice though. Silencer is the way to go for the vector, rapid fire is unnecessary imo since it has such rof to begin with.
