Not to be harsh, but that is a poorly done tattoo. The color isn't even, looks like there is some scarring. Not sure if he got it at a legit shop, but my suggestion is to go somewhere that has good portfolio's and a good reputation, and have them rework it. Trust me, I know.

I still think it is marker. The skin around it isn't even red. Besides that the uneven and very dull color.

Yeah he's getting it redone cuz everybody thinks it sucks. Can you close the thread? Kinda rare for someone to ask for their own thread to be closed.
