While that may be true, I'm used to map packs being part of patches provided at no cost. After how poorly the PC community was treated with mw2, I see no reason to give them money. Since dedi servers are available in BO, I am considering purchasing it because Treyarch isn't ignoring us entirely. If BO ends up being awesome I would consider paying for DLC. Otherwise I'll stick to the maps provided.

this is also true on xbox 360. i just noticed last night. I have to admit, I gave it some thought but in the end backed out. I assume I'll put MW2 to rest if black ops is solid so it's not worth it to me.

I bought it when it first came out because of extreme boredom. As of 2 weeks ago, every DLC match has an aimbotter. The only way I can play Modern Warfare 2 is to party with someone who doesn't have DLC.

What I would give to be able to uninstall it...

MW2 looked really good to. Until a couple weeks before the release they revealed some "minor" flaws about the game & when we played it we discovered another bunch of "minor" flaws.

But yeh, I wouldn't even buy it if it'd cost €1 for both (I'm serious), just because I have my principles.

Even if it was free, I wouldn't spend half an hour downloading it. Seriously.

The game is not "good" (read: fixed) enough to make me want to play it. When it works it's a lot of fun, but the vast majority of the time the negatives outweigh the positives.

Since I don't want it, it makes no difference what it costs.

Black Ops wont fail.

I can guarantee you that.

As long as IW aint doing it, you going to get good game play, dedis, more customizable game, probably wont have to pay for map packs like you do with IW.

That right their makes Black Ops better than MW2. Hell, WAW is better than MW2 and its WWII.

I hope your right sarentack, but come on... You guarantee it? Because IW DIDN'T make it? I have hight hopes and a lot of faith in treyarch but maybe you don't remember WAW... Something IW did not make (treyarch did). I'm a huge COD fan but I didn't buy WAW. Really, I'm not trying to bash BO or trey, I really want this to succeed!

As for maps, I happened to see that they had actually raised the price back up again on them (as of last night). I could swear they were asking 600 microsoft points ($7.50) before, and now they are 1200 again ($15.00). WTF? Is this happening on steam?

WAW was pretty good given it was a WWII game, spent plenty time in it.

It was the way Trey did WAW as to why I know Black ops wont fail.

But this is on the PC side of things to, IW has failed the PC community quite a bit and MW2 is prolly its last straw for IW when it comes to COD or the PC side.
