I never use them either. And only place I would is if on highrise I felt like goin on top of the building. But I never do that either. So to me they are a waist...lol

I used em today on h/c sabotage. I got killed and when I re-spawned the guy was waiting for me... but since I respawned with my shield up he was kinda confused, I'm guessing he had no semtex left as he just sat looking at me for ages! I lol'd.

I used them last time i played, because i was sniping. It was pretty dang effective, until somebody found it (i tried to hide it above the port-o-potty near the fortress on invasion)
but im gonna use claymores once i unlock them...

I only use them on Rust, climb the tower, tac insert, one man army, tube, predator, harrier, pavelow, jump off, die, reset. Repeat.

I never used it but I love camping near one to wait for the guy to spawn back and kill him.

Only time it's done anything for me is on Demolition, tucked back near the site I'm attacking/defending but not so close that it gets seen and I get shot twice for my trouble. It's been so hit-and-miss that I've quit using it on any classes, though.

Here's a tip. If someone kills you by your TI, and they're waiting to kill you, switch to a riot shield. They won't expect that at all.

thats is a awesome strategy, but about 2 weeks ago in domination strike, i came across a tac instertion and decided to stick around for a second to see if someone popped up, he did and i was directly behind him while he planted it again, once he did, i killed him, he popped up with a riot shield and caught me offgaurd. after a little scramble i stuck him with a semtex. (got hatemail calling me a noob faggot)

I hardly use tacs but when i do good way to get some nice kills is sneak into an enemy spawn hide it somwhere then hammer them every time you respawn just keep dropping it

once they move spawns repeat above works nicely
