hey all

this is my first thread on this forum and a good one too , i used to be a CoD hacker on Xbox 360 , what i mean is , id hack all the Call Of Duty's to 10th Prestige or any prestige i wanted.

After looking at the pros and cons of hacking/not-hacking , i have decided to become a legit player again and to no longer contribute to the video game hacking scene , it ruins the game , i mean im still signed up to modding sites , but thats only to get the latest news on them. I have recently made a new gamertag on the 360 to start fresh , Level 36 no prestige on MW2 atm XD but playing legit now actually gives me something to do other than having it all done like i did before when i done the 9th Prestige Level 70 Hack with all titles and emblems , it really seemed good before i got it and even after it was good having all the camos and attachments for guns to test them out , but after playing with my old account and testing out my weapons online , i only really use the TAR/INTERVENTION/UMP so i dont need to be hacked

Yes , you may find it annoying if you was Level 36 No Prestige at this stage in MW2 but hopefully playing legit will make it more fun

I don't know if you could consider yourself a hacker if you just buy a Jtag and host lobbies for giving people things that you should work for just to earn money or maybe microsoft points. I think hacking is way different than anything that comes close to what you did. Anyways, good for you that you can now act normal like 95 % of all the players !

Seriously why would you even bother coming here just to say you were a hacker and now your legit. First off you can't really call jtagging you xbox and using software/hardware somebody else made to alter a game hacking, since your not actually doing any hacking. Second, only somebody seeking attention would bother mention anything you just did. Third, why would you start to play MW2 legit now when Black Ops is less than a week away, there really isn't much point in doing so anymore.

honestly, just 10th hacking doesn't really bother me. It just basically ruined the credibility and awesome factor of leveling up

There'll always be someone hacking.

The only think rank/prestige indicates is time played, so it's pretty meaningless anyway.

I am not a hacker or a computer genius. I just started playing on-line and I was happy to be coming along at the regular rate of play. I won my first game at level 20 and thought it was so cool. I went to another game, other than free for all, and something weird came up on the screen and all of the sudden I was a level 55 with a cross. I don't want that, it robs me of playing and gaining XP. Why would someone do this? Can I get back to my old level without playing all 20 levels again? Your help would be appreciated.

Unfortunately, on the PS3 & 360 versions of the game, there is nothing you can do. Sorry Eagle.

If you're lucky then all it will have done is ranked you up to the next point at which you can prestige. Thus you can prestige and at least have the fun of unlocking weapons & perks even if all the emblems etc are done. However it sounds like you ended up Prestige 10, so there's absolutely nothing you can do unfortunately.
