you read the title now lets cut the crap and get to the point. i need a good way to detect campers without a heartbeat sensor radar or uav. any suggestions?

The thread asks for advice about how to find campers without using uav or hbs. That doesn't qualify for Game Reports imo. The only way you can find people is to look for them. You either find them o don't there is no magic wand.

Most campers use claymores or tac inserts so I suggest try using sit rep.

Systematically noobtoob every square meter of the map using One Man Army. This method of cancellation is perfect for detecting campers. Of course, if they move then you will need to start again.

Stay on topic. Sitrep is a good suggestion as well. However not every camper uses Claymores.

Also, try throwing stuns or flash bangs before entering a high traffic room/area. If you get the X, throw a semtex. But Sitrep is also a good tactic, especially if you have FMJ or a noobtube equipped. Plus, when you get a kill (esp. a GWK) by shooting a claymore, its always hilarious.

Learn the maps and the common routes and where people like to entrench. Yes every so often you will get killed from some incredabily random spot, but thats just the nature of this game. Why are you against using UAV, considering that people running cold blooded are a minority? Just curious.

Like many have said there is no magic way of detecting them. And every FPS has them and its just something to get used to and have to overcome.

Still the biggest reason why people post up is the general lack of communication among teamates in MW2.Since hardly anyone calls out enemy locations, these guys feel pretty safe in their hidey holes.

Typically the solution to this is firing through a doorway or floor/roof access.

If the room in question has none of these, divide by zero.

Begs the question of how the said camper got inside the room? Also how is he managing to kill you from this location.

Dividing by zero will cause a trip to L'Hospital.
