While "The Pro" came across like an asshole, I'm betting there's more to that story than the player claims there is. At the start he says, "I started a new account and sent a message saying LOL"... Sounds a little suss to me - why would you taunt a moderator in the first place and why create a new account to do it - banned before?

Unprofessional of "The Pro" but still, sounds to me like the player had it coming.

EDIT: I looked the player up (hey, I'm bored) and he is notorious for advocating glitching, etc in game. While I appreciate people who make hacks known to the public, advocating it is just dumb. And playing MW2 purely to find ways to fuck with the game is a different story:

"I will making my mission to ban every single account you have..." is one that stands out. That my friend is abuse of power, he's threatening and letting you know what he can do to you.

Nah he's just an unprofessional bastard, saying (dumb) stuff. To abuse his power, he'd have to actually do something, like ban without justification. The guy got banned for sure so something probably happened but there's no evidence there that he was innocent, in fact there's far more evidence that he had it coming. He's obviously been an idiot in the past, is known to MS (he's well known in the community) and has finally had his ass handed to him. Good stuff.

Though in saying that, I'm glad we don't have active moderation like that on the PS3.

Oddly enough, there's a lot less hacking there too - yay!

Middle schoolers whining that they've been unfairly banned for modding and cursing out a Mod? This has to be a dream, otherwise the Pro is my Hero.

Honestly I don't see why some people are siding with these's guys in the first place. They were hacker scum who exploited the game. Hell I'm pretty sure if any of you were to play against these guys one day you'd report them and then come on here to complain about "the middle schooler with a fowl mouth and the guys who got the nuke in a few seconds of the game"

As for the Pro he's fucking terrible at calmly handling a situation sure, but he got the job done. I don't know what these guys want from M$ but I certainly wouldn't give them back their accounts.

The Pro will probably get a lecture and resume with his job.

I just wish he would have a better attitude when dealing with people. I remember taking a trip at the Bans/Suspensions area of the XBL Forums one day, and there was a guy there complaining that he shouldn't be banned because he joined a 10th Prestige lobby and didn't realize it, only finding out after the game that he had that much XP to get there. The Pro then suspended him anyway, which IMO could have been dealt with differently. There are honest people out there, not very many, but there are some.

If he would act a bit more professional and kind, and not say anything when banning someone (no cocky, self indulgent attitude), he'd have more respect.

There are always two sides to every story and I have yet to find any solid evidence that proves anyone the pro has banned was innocent.

Lupo was wrong that video is so poorly edited. Lupo is a notorious modder and he's been up Microsoft's ass for a while. The bans were reasonable.
