So I have been keen to make a frag movie for MW2 but alas I have no recording capabilities. If anyone, (NinJa I know you do) has any video they'd like to archive and make available to me I would be greatly appreciative

It goes without saying but I obviously wouldn't take credit for gameplay and would show you the finished product before making it publicly avaible etc.

How good are you w movie editing? I really like stacking footage, but I hate editing it. As you seen in my UMP movie, I just throw in standard effects, but I really cant be arsed doing more than that.

Even that was asked much of me ;p, so if you could be editing my footage, I'd really like that.

ah this is the difficult part, some of the logic behind this is to gain experience (I knew there was something I forgot to say) in the area because frankly while I like mw2 It frustrates me to no end to play myself because of the various things prominently lag but I still wish to be involve with it somehow. My uni work load is light, around 13 contact hours per week, and I've played mass effect 2, bioshock 2 and everything else to death and so I thought to foray into this but the only problem lies with footage. I'll browse elsehere to see what I can rustle up and make a sort of bootleg demo if I can.

I can understand anyones reservations. Although it's not goin to end up like markkoh..

tl;dr:
qaulifications: not retarded, can mix music, learns fast, nothing else
to do and likes new things, few committments.

There is a program you can download, that enables you to download Youtube videos in HD quickly to your computer. Much quicker than any uploading website that we can give you. All you have to do is just download the program, copy the full Youtube link of the video you wish to download, and you can download it into the program.

Just be sure to do this:

Make sure it gets the "Best Available" quality, and you're set. It meets all of us in the middle, since all we do is upload to Youtube, and you can download it easily. Hell, it even converts formats better than most converters out there.

Voodoo. I had such idea in mind. How about (If you agree) We both edit one video and see what one comes out best? an little competition. I need clips aswell tough. so we could use both the same clips.

If not, I'd like to see your end result :P

I stick to two minute videos tough, As i have little time of live, And hate rendering&uploading.

You'd have to check with char ninja and vis to see if they're fine with it seeing as it is their footage. That aside I have no problem with the idea, I still intend to make a longer one than 2 minutes but no reason I can't do 2.

I have one question, NinJa. i downloaded your video with the youtube uploader. Yet i cannot figure out how to remove your music, But keep the ingame sound. I'd prefferably keep the ingame sound in it.
If not possible i guess i will have to stick to videos that have no music added to it.

That music with the names appearing is wonderfully lol and win at the same time. I see it and want to know more, in a WHO ARE THESE BADASSES FROM TEH INTERNETS!!!? B Movie low budget, cheesy but in-your-face kind of way.

I dont know if that was your intention but either way, it doesn't matter - I like it!

Do something with the fonts / effects though...but keep the timing as it is

Remember fitting music doesn't mean you must like the song yourself necisarrily. I personally really like dubstep & electro, though it's really boring (most of the time, there are exceptions) to put that kind of stuff together with MW2 footage.
