One of my favorite COD4 servers is now a MW2 mod map server. If anyone wants the IP let me know and I'll find it and post it. (Warning though it did seem to set my rank back but I haven't played since then) I'm posting this not to showboat any skills, simply to show you what Sub Base and COD4 look like together. I also played a bit on Highrise (the only two maps I downloaded) but I got kicked by Pb before obtaining any decent footage.

Unfortunately not many players in it and I gather a few were disconnected due to Pb and it's hatred of Steam. End score 12-2.

Sorry for the poor quality, my ping was over 250 and I was playing on higher graphics setting which accounts for some of the shit framerate.
This is just a clip from a rather long and drawn out game, but it was fun to say the least.

I attempted to upload the raw video to YT which ended up failing, so I've posted a compressed version which is actually quite horrible to look at.

TL;DR. Major fail around 3 minutes.

Definitely needs to be an active server, but that's rather enjoyable looking. What other maps are on the rotation?

I guess they are running mod maps, not exclusively MW2, though the only ones I played on were Highrise and Sub Base. Last night they were playing a map called Chernobyl and today it's something called toujane(sp?). Guess they are not 24/7 MW2 maps.
Judging by my ping I'd venture they are in the UK or thereabouts.

ZOMFG. Toujane is possibly, actually no way it's "definitely," the best MP map I've ever played. It was on COD2. Worked fantastically with WW2 weapons but I don't know what it'd be like on MW2 weapons. Oh well. Will have to see.

I played the server again today, this time there were 19 or so people in it, around 1-2pm PST, which is likely peak playing time in your neck of the woods. Played a map called Seti. Hella fun! After you call in your airstrike, the second killstreak was napalm followed by AC-130. Pretty confident that the server is in Europe; a guy on the team said he was in Turkey and his ping was hovering around 30 or so.

It is COD4 but on PC. Not sure if you can play custom maps on consoles.

Yeah, I meant to say I have CoD4 on PC. Rarely play it because it struggles to run higher than 30fps with extreme dropoffs. Last time I played it was running really high.

That's where I was on this game, around 30 fps and you can see I get stuck a few places as well. If you get back and decide to give it a go, lemme know; perhaps we can even throw abc and wunda into the mix.
