To the other guy: crosby > ovechkin because he's a more rounded player in terms of defence (and winning both the cup and gold medals). as a pure goal scorer, OV > crosby.

Platy: And I'm all right with that. My main objective right now is to get through school, and if I'll have to take heat from you guys for not being part of the community, then I'll do it, whatever. Now with that said, once the schoolwork load dies down I'll try to be more active and whatnot. I honestly don't see how you guys can stay on here and have like 20 posts a day (half of which are the equivalent of the "spam" I got banned for in the first place), like it's incredible. Sorry for not living up to your lofty expectations, but I suppose I'm just not cut out to please all you hardcore gamers.
ps. i read alot of the stuff you guys post, someone usually just beats me to what I wanna post, so I don't post.

ViS: All right, I ask for input, someone says "I'd rather watch someone do well while camping that 1337 no scopes all day", so I did that. So now you guys say the gameplay sucks, fine, I get that. Camping isn't really all that fun to watch, I agree. And it's not like were professionals sitting around doing podcasts.. no, we're a bunch of kids that want to do this on our spare time just for kicks. If you want to see something done, throw in the suggestions.

EDIT: All I'm saying is that I tried. You guys don't really like it. I'm gonna keep trying, but... you know, if you don't like it then you don't like it.

Even if you're camping the whole time, 29-0 is a very good score for SC let alone HC, I'm just not sure it makes a good video. You gave yourselves a really difficult job trying to make this one work and obviously the lack of gameplay variation must have made it hard to think of 10 minutes of game/tactics-related commentary.
The problem is most commentators who successfully venture down the "let's chat about random stuff" route have built up thousands of subscribers who have got to know them well before they do this kind of commentary. To draw people in to begin with you have to conentrate on common interests, ie COD gameplay and tactics.
I like that you guys try lots of different ways of presenting your videos, it's inevitable some will not work as well as others unfortunately.

A commentator talks about what is happening, not about the first handjob he got in highschool. Not sure where you ever got that from (that commentary is talking about random useless bullshit).
The basketball comentator on ESPN doesn't start talking about the trip he made to Paris & how he ate a delicious cheese over there either. If you commentate like this on any serious matter, you'd get insta fired.

When I started watching this, I thought you might camp certain spots for a littlle bit, not perma camp the same corner for 83% of the movie (that is including the loading screen)

The only proper title for this would be "Hardcore Campgame with a random conversation". pls fix (or simply dont post this crap anymore), this was really misleading.

On top of that, to comment the gameplay, you were facing arguably the biggest morons ive ever seen in any video. How retarded can you be really? After that entire thing, they still hand't figured you were replacing the claymores every time & just kept feeding you kills brainlessly.

You spawn, you move to your camping location, you camp there till the end.
Not exactly what one defines as "contains camping" (which would imply you camp from time to time, not it being the only thing you do).

You posted your fragvid here, you got negative feedback & you for some reason can't accept that. If you don't want feedback, then don't post your montages on this board anymore? Pretty simple really.
This forum is made to post montages & get feedback on them (exactly what I did), not to leech free hits off (which is the only other possibility why you could've posted it).
First off, English is my third language after Dutch & French. On top of that I also speak German. I'd love to know how many languages you're able to speak fluently?
Second, I really don't care at all about my spelling on an internet forum. When needed, my English is flawless. I blogged for one of the biggest gaming websites for a while & was classified into the second highest category for the WorldMUN 2010 (which is an international contest organized by Harvard University). I'd gladly dig up my essay from last year or link you one of my blogposts incase you have any doubts.

That aside, this whole grammarpolice thing is just a blatant fallacy to drag the discussion away from what matters.

You talking about dragons, boobs, turkey, ham, thanksgiving, beer, russian vodka, sports, etc... has absolutely zero relevance to the footage (which is a game of MW2).
Good commentators will occasionally make remarks about unrelated facts to spice up their commentary, yet there will always be a link to the video (some event occurs, commentator says something like "that reminds me of that time we went out...").
This isn't what you are doing. You could put this commentary on any video & it'd still fit. Hence why I say it's completely unrelated, irrelevant & bad commentary.

Again, if you enjoy doing this, good for you. Yet that doesn't mean that it is a good montage/commentary nor does it mean you'll get positive feedback when posting it here.
This board is made to post a montage, get feedback & improve future videos based on that.

Ummm what are you watching on tv? Cause every sports game I watch (And I watch alot) They are always talking bout different things, not just commenting on the action that is happening on the field. They even bring in celebs every once in a blue moon for funny comments or a hot chick to talk for better ratings. I agree that they should have talked more bout the game, but that would just be boring to listen to sometimes, cause I can see what is happening and dont need to be told what is happening.

How exactly is that relevant anyhow? The fact that I state that I can speak 4 languages fluently was part of a refutatio (countering an argument you gave, which was a fallacy to begin with). When you do nothing but camping & you tell your audience "contains camping", it's a blatant lie.
When you would take a little kid to a movie & it'd say "contains mild violence" and you end up watching 90min bloodbath, you can't brush it off as an understatement either.

I quite agree with chaR, tbh. I realise you most likely post videos on this forum to get feedback and views. The reason people post in this thread is to provide you with feedback.

If someone posts back telling you it was poor, just ignore them. If someone tells you it was poor, AND then goes on to say why and/or provides suggestions/ideas on what to do next time, appreciate it.

If you have an issue, take it up via PM. Don't discuss personal matters/disputes in threads.
