Default Who needs aim-assist?

I do for the last shot. FML.

Anyway, this is an old demo I recorded yesterday using CoD4's built in avidemo feature. It was recorded with cl_avidemo 120, then the screen shots were imported into a handy little program called VirtualDub. This simply turns all the screens into a .avi file.

The video was then imported into Vegas where I added music, colour correction, some basic colour curves, reset sharpness to zero, and then rendered with the settings given by Ninja in the other thread.

EDIT: Okay, not too bad once you watch in 720p. But still, it could be much better.

what FOV is that? Seems bigger than the regular CoD4. Solid sniping nevertheless

The config that I used was made for Promod videos, and the FOVscale is therefore set to 1.125. I played with a FOVscale of 1 and FOV of 80.

I love the color and softness of the video and that suits the song which is awesome, but maybe coordinate the song more with the clip...and maybe add some more too it?

This was, after all, only a test video to see how the avidemo quality compares to Fraps, but thank you.

If I ever get enough clips or even time to make a proper frag movie, I will bear that in mind.

Good video, there is nothing wrong with the quality(no offence) but why is everyone getting SUPER picky about video quality all of a sudden, doesn't need to be any better IMO, it's fine and it's you so most people will still love it here even if it's not super dooper HD with every minor detail showing perfectly.

Also it looks different to console, like you see more of the gun and have a wider point of view?

Thank you. I realise that quality isn't what matters. My issue is that I see other people getting MUCH better quality for their videos on Youtube. For example, I watch a lot of CodJumper videos (I am subscribed), and I even followed a few tips/instructions on their websites on how they make their movies (I'll embed one for you). The quality is SUPERB.

I am just frustrated that I seem to do exactly the same as others, but still come off worse. I feel as if I am missing something, or doing something wrong, probably unknowingly.

Tried to find one for Crash for direct comparison. Specifically, look at the walls and bricks etc., and you can see how grainy mine looks.

FOV = Field of view. Console FOV is set to 65, where as PC players can choose from 65-80. FOVscale is a multiplier which increases FOV, and is allowed from 1 (default) to 1.125 in Promod only.
