Default What to do?


Want to edit, don't know what to do. Made this trailer, clean music, clean edit.
What i want is a sort of piano tune like the one in the trailer, but then i need edits that go along with it.

So please link stuff, give hints/tips ect, full thing comming soon depending on how much help i can get

Well, I really like the piano with it, and that you can faintly hear the gameplay in the background. I'm shit at giving advice on edits, but I'm great at compliments. Nice job!

Thanks, but like from what i have done and what you have seen others do before, what did you think looked best? Slow-mo, fast, blur, stars, brightness, ect

The only criticism I have towards your video's is the stars and lens flares. I find them distracting. I like it when you do the screen flicker right before you start mass murdering. Kind of like your javelin video, iirc you did that right before you got the kills. (Which happens to be my favorite video, and it turned me into a Mt. Eden fan)

Improvementwise for the trailer, I'd use more fading & you didn't end the music properly ;p.
You should end a song on whats called the tonic of the key, else it sounds unfinished (like this did). Though it's prolly not something to worry about & I'm hearing it because I played piano myself for a very long time.

For the actual movie I wouldn't use piano music or smth though. It's nice for a trailer, but will become boring in a longer movie. You could maby find some song that has a similar piano intro, but becomes smth different to start the movie with.
I seriously doubt that a full piano track under a movie will work out well.

Adding on to what chaR said, unless you can find an epic piano piece that has an intro like that but then gets super fast or something. Or what you can do is do a cross fading transition that goes into something faster.
