Short of waiting for any word of a price drop at
E3 next month, prospective game system buyers will be interested to hear that Sony has two new bundles on the way for the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Portable at some pretty decent prices.
Beginning on May 31, the 160GB PlayStation 3 system will be sold with
Call of Duty: Black Ops. The limited time bundle includes the First Strike DLC, which is normally available for $15. It'll cost $299.99, the same price as the system alone, so that's a pretty tremendous deal for anyone interested in picking up a system with Black Ops.
On the PSP side, the PSP-3000 will soon be bundled with
Gran Turismo PSP and
MLB 11: The Show, as well as a 2GB memory stick, all for $159.99. The bundle, referred to by Sony as the "Limited Edition PSP Entertainment Pack," is due out in June. A new PSP currently retails for $129.99 following its
price drop earlier this year, but just picking up a PSP and MLB 11 would be the same price as the bundle.
