All this week, Late Night With Jimmy Fallon will be showing off games as a part of something it's calling Video Game Week. It started last night with
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3, as Fallon had on Activision Publishing CEO Eric Hirshberg, Sledgehammer's Glen Schofield, and Infinity Ward's Robert Bowling to briefly demo the game, which you can see above.
They first showed off some of the New York Harbor sequence seen during Microsoft's E3 press conference before jumping into Spec Ops mode. Fallon played the game along with guest Simon Pegg. Fallon didn't seem like much of an expert, though it wasn't for lack of enthusiasm.
The show, which airs at 12:35am Eastern, will have
Gears of War 3 on tonight. According to
USA Today, the rest of the week will see
Uncharted 3 on Wednesday;
Battlefield 3 on Thursday; and
The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword on Friday. Last night's episode used the retro game-style opening seen below, which was specially created for this week.
