Update: Microsoft has gotten back to us, telling us it spoke with Activision which said it "value[s] and appreciate[s] the community's support. They have no interest in banning legitimate copies in these last few days. They just ask for everyone to wait for Tuesday when everybody can play the game together." So you probably won't be banned if you fire up the game ahead of Tuesday, they'd just pretty-please like it if you didn't.
Original Story: Contradicting what we learned yesterday, those who decide to play Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 before release on Xbox 360 apparently are risking their Xbox Live accounts.
