hi there.
for the last week i have a very annoying problem with my gun jamming in the middle of auto fire or not firing at all when i need to shoot.
it only happens in multyplayer and when i'm not on my own server.
AND
it only happens when im firing AT someone (it won't jam if i'm just firing aimlessly).

also, the severity of the problem changes from server to server, and it is extremely frustrating when i want to shoot and nothing happens or the gun fires 2 shots and stops (so i need to reclick in order to keep firing).

i REALY need help here

nobody have a clue?
i tried reinstalling my game (twice) and reinstalled steam from the web. still same problem. gun won't shoot at people or will quit shooting in middle of auto fire.

It's built into the game engine to stop modded controls. Basically, there's a firing cap, go over it and the gun jams.

Therefore I say dodgy mouse or lag spikes (could potentially explain why it only happens when you fire at people, as this can "attract" lag, although I'm sure it only feels like it happens when you shoot at people as this is a far more frustating effect)

i came up with a new approach and opened up nat and all related ports on my router. also installed a ping reducing software. this completely solved the problem, but only for 3 days. the problem returned now, and i'm still forced to use only sniper/shotgun/rpg types of weapon...

i'm beyond frustration now
