when i get host more than once in succession my game crashes. its the same for EVERYONE.

also noticed that it only started happening after the recent patch, but that could be just coincidence.

Aside from that, this has been a issue that a lot of our members are having. Check this thread for more information. It does seem like a patch-related issue, since there hasn't been an outbreak of crashing/disconnects since the patch.

I never really have a problem with the servers shutting down. I play on the PS3 though so that may be a xbox thing. I have seen many BS videos of these people on 360 using that lad switch thing which is BS. No one pays for a game to just get pwned by some noob who just wants to get xp for now reason! Anyway the only problem I have with server is the host quiting because I pwned them! lol

Also PC version doesn't have servers unless you consider the host PC as a server :S Even though it was an incomprehensible rant I understand his frustrations at the moment.

i'd really like to know which brainchild made the ASSumption that virtually every person playing the game on a pc would have a compy beefy enough, and an internet connection fast enough, to host games?

i started building gaming compies in '99 with the advent of UnrealTournament, and knew better than that back then!

how long has this generation of whizkids been around that they had no clue about what it takes to set up a compy to host properly?

much less how to actually TEST CHANGES properly before implementing them? :-(

The only differences between these and dedicated ones are the qualities of the connections and the power of the systems.
