Console versions, because analogue sticks are awful for aiming, have auto-aim so when you place your crosshair vaguely near a target it will automatically lock on. This could be what you're experiencing.

The only other situation is an old method to avoid being caught cheating. You have a little script that changes your name to the name of someone else in the server so that when the anti-cheat program tries to kick the cheater, it ACTUALLY bans the legit player instead. This would explain if you managed to watch what you thought was yourself apparantly on killcam.

Maybe I should be a little more thorough in my question, I will get killed and spawn and it seems like someone else has taken over my mouse, looking around as though to see if i am cheating. Is it someone hacking or is it lag or just game problems.Thanks

Downside

Its probably just lag ,when its really bad it takes ages to react to your movements and makes you jump about the screen. So if you look left after running for example, your screen would show you running forwards you would then stop for a bit then turn left in a jumpy way. Any other movements you made would then follow and it would seem like you have no control.

I would say lag. On the xbox if you get lagged you will be moving around like crazy.

It also could be the auto aim thing that you get which goes straight on to a target.
