Default Joining a game

Recently i've been trying to join a game, as soon as i get in. My FPS goes to like 1-2. And it freezes for about 1-2 seconds and good for a sec, then freezes again. Ive tried dumbing down my video settings, that didnt help. I've tried updating my video card and other drivers that did not help either.

Has anyone else had this problem with their PC version of MW2?

Try to explain it a bit more. As soon as i join, i can barely move my mouse to select a class, cause it doesnt move for about 3-5 seconds after. Not sure whats going on, maybe a re-install might fix it.

Any help would be great, thanks

It would be helpful if you post computer specs, that way we can help you diagnose the problem. Sounds like settings but if you have already set on lowest, not sure what else to tell you. I'm going to bed now, maybe some of our night owls will be able to help you out. Post specs though.

Your PC should be able to handle it. Try rolling back the drivers as the latest version is not always the best. Also see how it is playing another game with high specs, if thats ok then it maybe the game thats playing up.
