I can't update my MW2 with Steam,can someone tell me how to update it to newer version.

MW2 updates automatically when you log into Steam.

Go to your My Games list in steam and go to your MW2 properties. On the updates tab, it should say something like, "keep this game up to date automatically". If it doesn't say this, just click the drop-down menu and change it.

I saw somewhere that new version is 1.2.0

And there is prob that I can't go in some servers because patch is not the same

Well I very much doubt it would go straight to 1.2.0 from 1.0.xxx. You mean 1.0.2?

I just checked and I'm still on 1.0.184, so no updates. And I still connect to Steam, so I presume that is still the latest version.

So why I can't connect to some servers,it seems that Steam updates all auto ,so what is ver. of that server,every day I can't connect to more servers.

Steam can be a bit dodgy on it's own, but combined with IWnet it is capable of being absolutely useless.

"normal" is very often taking 5 minutes to connect to a game without "lobby disconnecting" or any other error messages.



How/why do you think that it's the version that is causing connection issues?

Because when i trying to play team deathmatch it throws me out of the game and explanacion is my patch is not as servers patch.It happens every day more and more.

Just something to ask?In my MW2 instruction book under controls it is written that F12 means screenshot.Where I can find that screenshots.

Hmm...? I'm not sure what to suggest next.

I can't find those either. The best way to take screenshots would be to just use Fraps, though.

Maybe IwNet made servers with another version.

Certainly sounds as though IWNet has fucked up, again.

The last thing I can suggest is to re-install the game, and get Steam to re-update the game afterwards. Only recommended if you have the retail version and can install from the disc though, or you have very good internet speeds. Steam servers seem to be quite busy at the moment.
