Something i've realized that sometimes when i'm playing with a cable connected from my computer i cannot join/people join me.

Today i was playing inhouse with some friends and i felt like there was some sort of delay. So I asked my friend to strafe left, i shot a pretty fair bit to the left of him and i still killed him.

I then remembered that I i was playing wireless, so i plugged in my cable, and the server dc'ed. I couldn't join my friends, they couldn't join me. I unplugged the cable, and i could join them again.

So now i have to choose, play alone so i can have ability to kill people without spraying blindly around them. Or play wireless with my friends and not be able to do shit.

Anybody know a fix to this?

When you play via the ethernet cable, does your NAT type turn to Strict?

No it's always open, but some random times it becomes closed/strict, doesn't matter if i have the cable or not.

Okay, not really sure then.

I was going to suggest port forwarding to open your NAT, but if it's open then there's no point.

Maybe someone else can help.
