i have recently purchased and downloaded the stimlus package.
i fully downloaded then installed then i realised i could not access the content of the package.
i noticed the game code was wrong i had downloaded a bles-695 and bles-685 or something and i had a bles-693 i think.
i could not find the right coded package and i feel psn have "played" me.
any help or advice on the topic!

Check the store/downloaded items. It should be there, you won't get charged for it.

Did you buy the game in your home country?

you need all of those (I think, cant' check codes at the min). You need to download all seven files from psn for it to work, you can only download the correct files

you do not need to download all 7 files that would be a total waste of time.

instead follow the instructions on the download page. look at the spine of your MW2 case below the age rating is a number something like BLES-0683 that is the only file you will need to download. the code will begin with BLES and then the code for your disc, only download your disc code file.

when you purchase anything from the playstation store you get 5 free downloads of that file just in case you have more than 1 ps3 or yours breaks and you have to download again. it will show that you have purchased it by showing a small red sony shopping bag at the bottom right of the DLC picture.

there are 7 codes listed to download on PSN you will only need the one that has the same code as your MW2 box.

Tatemylightning is correct about only needing to download the map pack that has the same code on the spine of your box. Highlight each download and watch the scrolling text. The BLES code will appear toward the end of the text.

And you can download anything you've purchased from the PS Store, as many times as you like, but you can only share your downloads with 5 different PS3's.

0683 is the last one in the list i think right at the bottom.

Its definatley there 683 was the one i needed.But yeh i downloaded the lot before i realised.

From the stimulus. Bailout and Storm. Really like both. Never really played Cod4 so overgrown and crash are still new to me too. My least fav of all 5 is probably Salvage although I do like going on the blue container in the middle of the map with my sniper
