PC: MW2 Disappeared from my PC hard Drive. - Modern Warfare 2 Forum: Free Call of Duty MW2 Community

Sounds unbelievable, but MW2 Disappeared from my PC hard Drive. i had intalled several months ago. Played through probably 3/4 of teh levels. Went on to otehr activities for months....today I decided to do MW2 for a while. Clicked my desktop Shortcut Icon and it said the shrotcut didn't exist. I went to where the MW2 folders/files had been, and NOTHING was there. I don't know how this could even happen?

Any ideas? I've found a few suggestions elsewhere referring to "Steam" files, but I have nothing like that on my PC that I can find.

The most obvious answer would be that someone deleted the files, or uninstalled MW2. Is there a possibility someone may have done this?

Have you done a search to see if the files are on your computer somewhere else. Have you had a virus?
