ive had no problems so far but for no reason it pops a message saying it didnt close correctly last time n do i wanna go into safe mode? i said no n it goes to a black screen n nothign more, said yes n does the same,restarted steam, restarted my comp, n i just dont know what to do
single player plays fine

I've had this problem a few times playing COD4, but not through Steam.

Have you ever been able to actually play MP?

Do you have a legit copy of the game?

Have you looked through Steam Forums?
