Since I started playing with a headset I have noticed the game volume changes throughout the game. When I join a lobby full of people, there is a really loud sound, whereas when one person joins, a softer sound is played.

The same goes for explosions etc in the game. The closer I am to an explosion the louder is sounds, which is the way it should be of course. But I would like the max volume to be limited to, say 75-80 dB, whereas now it feels like there isn't an upper limit...? I am slightly concerned I am doing damage to my hearing sometimes. If I turn everything down to accommodate for the volume spikes, I won't get the full experience I think.

Is there a game setting (xbox), or possibly some hardware I can buy that solves this issue?
