It's really annoying and I can't figure out how to make it go full screen again... i've played around with every resolution with no luck.
I clicked properities on the shortcut to make sure that there was no "-w" are the end of the target file. ARRG! ![]() Also, my output display is an LG LCD 22" TV hooked via HDMI cable and is my only display (my laptop is closed, and control panel is set to display on the tv only) -not sure if this matters.. ANyone please helP?

Wrong section of the site, in the future refer to the gaming issues area for issues/questions: Modern Warfare 2 Technical Issues - Modern Warfare 2 Forum: Free Call of Duty MW2 Community
Anyway, try "ALT + ENTER" when in game, that should return it to full screen. EDIT: Do it BEFORE you press play, otherwise it won't work.

Open up your config_mp in your MW2 folder and use CTRL + F to find the line containing "fullscreen". Change it from "0" to "1".

yes there is. It's under c/program files/steam/steam apps/common/mw2/players/profile/config_mp.cfg
Right click on config_mp, choose "open with" then use notepad. You are looking for r_fullscreen = 0 and want to change it r_fullscreen 1 before hitting save. In the even of that not working, HBK's suggestion of pressing ALT + ENTER will. Sometimes the use of ALT + ENTER keeps the current res which can be annoying if you want to use native res and have no idea why it's not full screen, but that's easy enough to change in the options menu. Most of the time it will switch to windowed mode when another program thinks it's more important. E.g. pop ups displaying info about windows updates or virus scanning software updates can cause other programs to enter windowed mode.
