Question map pack #2 crashing

I have updated mw2 and bought both map packs but pack # 2 keeps crashing when i try to launch any of its maps. Has this happened to any 1 else? if so, how do you fix it?

Yes !!!! i downloaded the map pack tonight and when i try to host a private match to just run around the maps and explore it gave me the error

" ERROR:could not find zone'mp_abandom.ff' "

and what really annoys me is that i used 500megs of my cap to download files that were not even downloaded ?!?!

Hope someone can help on this matter ?

Thanks

P.s. a friend of mine had the same prob and had to download the map pack again and then it worked!

I just want to find a way of not doing that...

Heres the fix:

go to C:\Program Files (Steam\steamapps(32 bit)
Exit STEAM
DELETE: call of duty modern warfare 2 resurgence pack.gcf
DELETE: call of duty modern warfare 2 resurgence pack.ncf
Open up steam > go to mw2 properties> local files> verify integrity

This should work for ya.
