Are there any files I can edit or delete in the MW2 installation directory that will allow to play multi player without any blood? I'm pretty sure theres a way. If anyone knows how to do this please kindly tell me. Thanks!
P.S. I didn't know what forum to post it in so if this is the wrong spot please move it.

Yes indeed this can be done, here's how:

• Locate your multiplayer config file (called config_mp.cfg)
• The default location is: "c:\program files\Steam\steamapps\common\call of duty modern warfare 2\players"
• Right click on config_mp.cfg, mouse over "open with" and select a plain text editor, e.g. microsoft "notepad"
• Locate cg_blood "1" (either do it manually, it should be near the start, or hit ctrl + f and type "blood")
• Change the 1 to a 0 and go file > save

Copy paste your config onto your desktop as a backup, then try it yourself.
