Default Please help me

Could use a little help if anyone knows what is wrong.

For some reason my ping is really bad all of the sudden and I can't play games online with the PS3. I can connect to the Madden servers and can connect to the matchmaking server on Modern Warfare 2 but it won't put me in a game. The only way I can play online is if I join one of the people on my friends list session but I have a really bad connection.

Anybody know why this just started happening today and what I can do to fix it? I did an internet connection test on the PS3 and it detects my router and the download/upload speed that it finds is what it normally is...

I can connect to the EA servers when I play Madden and setup a match but I get kicked ass soon as the game starts. In Red Dead Redemption it will put me in a free roam lobby all by myself.

I think the problem is that my NAT type is now at moderate after being at NAT type open. How do I change it?

If that fails, consider a new router. I had issues about a year ago and like you everything seemed fine with the router. But my internet connection would sometimes fluctuate a lot, and then whenever i downloaded software updates they would be corrupt. Turned out my router was resetting itsef every couple of minutes - not something that comes up in a standard speed test.
