Default None would know this, but I shall ask it anyway!

So recently, I got a new 52" Plasma LCD screen TV for my room. Before, it used to be some 50" Tube TV.

Now, whenever I play MW2 on my big ol' plasma screen, there is a 1 second delay when I press buttons. It is not the lag because the same thing happens in Private Matches and Campaign.

If anyone can tell me what's going on and how to fix it, it would be <3'd.

EDIT: Before, when I played on my Tube TV, it used to work perfect.

An issue with hardware then I expect, most likely cables (damaged during switch etc.) or possibly just a faulty TV.

1. See if your TV has Game Mode setting. This helps with TV running minimal processes to minimize your screen refresh rate.

2. Are you running HDMI cable from the TV to the XBOX / PS3. HDMI cables well they cause TV lag since they carry more information for improved quality. A cheap fix for this is to run VGA cable from TV to the console. Quality drops but your TV lag goes to pretty much nil.

1. either put it in game mode
2. if it hasnt got a "game mode" then check the Hz as it sounds like you have a 120/240hz, set, see if you can try and turn it down it might be labeled de judder or smooth motion or something similar.

However they are the soloutions for most cases for LCD tvs. So first try on ur plasma but it may not work/cant change

Try Component Cables. I had this same problem when I made the switch to an HDTV. If the picture slightly blurry as well?

Using composite (Red/Yellow/White) cables on a bigger HDTV screen will cause a slight delay. With component cables (Blue/Green/White/Red/Red/Yellow) however, this problem is solved. Go to Radioshack and buy them for your console. If they don't work, you can always get a refund.
