Hey everyone,
So my NAT is strict, which disallows me from playing in rooms online. Unfortunately, I am using the dorm internet at my school, and don't have access to a router to find out which it is. Does anyone have any ideas of how to deal with this?
Also, does anyone know if this will be an issue with Black Ops when it comes out? I am able to play every other multiplayer online game I have, just fine.

You can't do anything without access to the router.

Black Ops won't have matchmaking on PC so it shouldn't have this issue. Can't speak for the console version.

You can do a lot without access to the router. Port forwarding doesn't require router access. Read the section about it in this thread.

In order to follow those instructions I need to know the kind of router. And I'd need access to it to see that. I'll just wait another two weeks for the new game.

Or you could use a little initiative, and maybe go and ask whoever (Janitor, on-site technician, anybody like that) has access to the room/area where the router is, what they can do for you.
