Default Xbox Not Reading Discs
Every time I put a disc in my xbox, it says "reading" at first, but then after a few seconds it just says "open tray." It does this no matter what the disc is. It's happened to me yesterday and the day before, and I just like blew on it and kept turning it on and off and other random things and it started working after a while. But now I can't get it to work. Does anyone know what I should do?

I already googled it. I want a way that doesn't require taking apart my xbox or paying a hundred dollars.

I feel that if it's hardware related thats the only way to do it. Or just spray compressed air into it and see what happens (make sure the can is upside down), or use a cleaning disc.

You don't really have to take your xbox completely apart, and its not hard to put it back together really. But you could try the compressed air to clean the sensor
