Does anybody know if ps3 buyers of the hardened edition/elite subscribers will still have to wait longer than xbox hardened edition/elite subscribers to get dlc?

AFAIK, that's unknown right now. I'd assume not, unless 360 gets them Sep-May and PS3 gets them Dec-Aug. Which to me wouldn't make any sense.

I'd love to know how much Microsoft pay for that. I highly doubt it's the dealbreaker that snares anyone undecided which console to buy. Maps a month early. whoopeedoo.

I'm willing to say CoD1-CoD4 was when the series was at its best.

I hadn't thought of that. That is indeed a complete c*nt's trick as they say in the darker corners of the east end. No point in any non-xbox players signing up, although I'm really curious to see how many do from a business point of view because it sounding worse and worse by the day. Some part of me would love to see this go tits up.

My friends list pretty much came from mw2 and everyone played.
Most of them bought bo, only a couple didn't.
This time it's difficult to say, but I reckon 2/3 will get it. Most people I know are getting the hardened edition though. They make get less sales but still get more money.
If the 70 ish people on my list are an indicator though a good portion are moving on.

If I ever get it, this is what I will do. I was never disappointed with Mw2 DLC, but if i played MW first I probably would have felt differently.
BO DLC was a massiv disappointment. Never tried the last 2 map packs but the first 2 were a big let down imo.

Map packs in general kind of just suck. I don't want to get into a debate over it again. it just depends on what you think $15 is worth. I mean, they do provide like a day of playing time of "newness" i suppose.

Well the last MP was all zombies. Only the first MP had decent maps to me.

MW's MP wasn't too great, personally I only liked Killhouse.

WaW definitely had the best maps though. You could use any gun effectively on almost any map.

I love the maps on w@w, don't know which is dlc though. Got them all together and haven't played it in ages. Love the maps on mw2 dlc but as 4 were from cod 4. If I had played it at the time, would have felt differently probably. I mean 4 from the previous game is a lot.
Just thought the ones in bo were shit on the whole, liked the start of one of the zombies, the one with Buffy in it. But not fussed on zombies.
This isn't a "it isn't worth the money" thing either, thats a whole other discussion. Just a I dont/do like them thing regardless of money.

I could list the DLC WAW maps but I really don't want to.

I never even bought the MW2 DLC because I never had the money to, and 9/10 people were complaining about it.

Call of the Dead? That was honestly my second least favorite, behind Five. To each their own though (my favorite is and always has been Verruckt. I love that map)

And yeah it depends on how the maps are in it. Earlier CoD's MP's were more liked, while more recent CoD's don't get as much love.

Hopefully MW3 actually redeems the MP's.

Yeah really not much point listing them, I don't know the names. I liked the subway level and the one with all the buildings/houses that were broken bombed out etc. Didn't like a dull grey circular map with tanks.
Call of the dead, thats the one. Like I said, I liked the start. It made me laugh first time I saw it. As soon as you were in control went off it. I like zombies but for some reason never really liked the zombie game in cod.

Subway one is Station IIRC, circular is Roundhouse (or something like that), the broken/bombed one describes most WaW maps.

And as most people here know, I always like zombies more than MP in the games that have zombies.

Wow this thread went a little off topic. Also, do you have WaW? I actually picked it up again yesterday. Just that NO ONE plays Domination anymore.
