Kill Box- Kill 25 enemies with the Chopper Gunner in a single run in "return to sender"
Danger Close- Take down a chopper with an ac130 smoke grenade in "Bag and Drag"
Menage a Trois- Destroy 3 tanks with a single 105mm shot in "iron lady"
Jara Crimrman- kill an enemy in the store without getting spotted in "eye of the Storm"
nein- kill 9 enemies with A-10 strafing runs in "scorched earth"
50/50- Complete a special ops mission with the same number as kills as your partner
Birdie- kill 2 enemy helicopters without getting hit
Serrated Edge- finnish a Jeggernaut with a knife

No Assitance required- Complete a spec ops mission on Hardened or Veteran with no player getting downed
Brag Rags- Earn 1 star in Special Ops Mission Mode
Tactician- Earn 1 star is *typo on the actual acheivement* each mission of Special Ops Mission Mode
Overachiever- Earn 48 stars in spec ops mission mode

When was there ever MP achievements? Except the 360 version of WaW where there was one for prestiging once and one for prestiging 10 times.

I don't see why. Singleplayer is enough achievements as it is, let alone with multiplayer ones. And besides, the challenges could be considered progressive achievements.

The ones who whine about it probably only play MP and no SP.

Not sure which one vip was. I did the sp but didnt pay any attention to the achievements.
I think any that you get for just playing are pointless, like the first one. Ones that you don't necessarily get just by playing the game are not pointless just not my thing. I like to get all the intels for instance so a trophy for that isnt pointless but i'm not into trophies.


The Cloud thing

Just meant that cloud hasn't started the SP yet so wouldnt have a trophy for just starting the game (using mw3 as an example. No idea if the same trophy applies). He keeps saying he will play sp but never does.

VIP was completing "U.S.D.D.", a purely cinematic level. You could walk out of the room, take a piss, eat something, come back and have the achievement.


And ah, I see. I always do SP first. Get a feel for the guns and such. This way I don't get annihilated online.

I did the same until BO. Will probably mp first again in BF3. Main reason is I used to be all about the sp. MW for instance I had, played sp to death then gave it to a friend and he played mp for a year. Never played mw mp until after mw2. Now i'm all about the mp.

It is pointless. But at least it's the only one, and there's not like 5 of them. And yeah I used to start in MP first in CoD4 and WaW, then in MW2 and Black Ops did SP first.

Playing SP will tell you next to nothing about the guns usually except perhaps the basics of them. They could be quite different in MP.

Off the top of my head, the main ones that were different were the UMP (SP had a higher RoF), CoD4 M16 (full auto), Crossbow (explosive-only in MP), and that's about it.

Damn right. I know it's a challenge not an achievement, but as an example of how it can affect behaviour, whoever thought up the 'Completely Dominated' idea in Blops (taking all 3 flags) was an idiot. bye bye spawn trapping. Forcing people to attempt particular things at the expense of game flow is a stupid idea.

just out of interest what difficulty do you play sp on....im doing it on hardened as i feel it provides the best balance between entertainment and being a challenge....without me wanting to violate my PS3...coudl be a trophy whore an do it on veteren but maybe after i finish it.

usually normal hardened and veteran if poss. BO was more luck at certain parts and just gave up at the hill in vietnam

I do recruit just to get the few trophies for finishing the levels on any difficulty. Also gets through the story quicker.

Also wondering, what percentage (PS3) or how much gamerscore (360) do you guys have so far?

I have about 45% on PS3. Mostly from finishing SP levels, and the Spec Ops achievements. The knifing a Juggernaut one was a bitch to do.
