Agreed. Less camping for killstreaks. The AK74u was amazing, I miss the G36, and Pipeline.

Dedicated servers, being able to lean, no glitches, mods, custom maps and not having to use steam.

All of it. Admittedly MW2 is a great multiplayer game but for me all the customization makes the game just that little bit harder to get into.

I used to sit around all day just waiting to get home and play COD4 because it had that brilliant arcadey gameplay feeling but you could still play for hours straight andI would spend all my free time playing it.

Now though with MW2 it has become more of a chore. With no dedicated servers and too much lag and crappy matchmaking I think the multiplayer just doesnt have me hooked.

Pluse AK-74u was WIN.

What I miss a lot:
The almighty MP5!!!(without the K!) I love that gun, also the AK-74u.

The (primary) shotguns were actually usable.

Golden AK-47.

The recoil from the guns, it actually felt like I was firing a gun not a pea shooter >_>

I miss these but meh not so much:
The G36C.

Same simple killstreaks for everybody.

Dedicated servers.

I didn't like the maps much, but they're better than MW2's.

No eye pollution ie: "Buzzkills, Avenger Kills, Payback in big bold bright red-ish letters blocking your view every 2 kills you get >_>

I miss the "feel" of Modern Warfare. Now, I'm starting to find myself playing COD4 more often. I miss the G36C, G3, AK-74u, MP5, M60, and M40. I loved the M60 LMG. It had horrible sights so the only thing you could put on it was a RDS. And SHIPMENT! I LOVE THAT MAP!

Honestly, most things in CoD4 are better than in MW2, except the graphics. I personally don't really like CoD4's graphics since I got used to MW2's.

That's about it, really. Mostly the G36C though; this game has no equivalent. I certainly enjoy MW2 more, though.

Hacker free gaming (Punkbuster & dedi servers managed this fine?)

Instant connection to MP games & MP system that gets you into games instantly (Dedi servers)

First person shooter that makes YOU get the kills, not a game dominated by computer controlled air support

Choice - freedom to join whatever size game or specific map you want (dedi servers)

lean/other custom controls and tweaks to make the interface more comfortable

Choice - freedom to play any gametype with any amount of players etc

mods - I'm sure I'll miss loads of new theatres, maps, weapons, enemies, air support, gametypes, mods (aliens, vietnam etc) eventually.





I consider the first four of those to be major problems, the others are just smaller niggles/annoyances
