What was your favourite map in COD4 MP and why?

Mine was probably Overgrown but there are about 5 that I really like and it's very difficult to pick just one. I like Overgrown because it was a reasonable size and there was plenty of cover.

SPOOKFORCE

I like Crash. Because it can be good for sniping or run and gunning. While I'm a fan of most others I'm also partial to Ambush and Broadcast (have to stop myself or I'll list them all).

Only one I don't really like is Overgrown...because you or the other team can just get trapped...there's not enough sightlines and it's just a pain IMO

I nearly always played TDM and I found that if the teams weren't well balanced skill wise it was quite easy for a team to get trapped on most of the maps. The worst map for that happening has to have been Creek.

I thought Crash was ok. My least favourite was Backlot. I hated it and nearly always seemed to do rubbish on it.

crash is a pretty good alround map you can use just about anything. crossfire and ambush are pretty good too. get annoyed with Bog because there is soo much random sh*t in the way all the time!!!! damn!!!!!

Bog: but only if you spawn Marine side. Op For side means you're in for a bad day unless the other team sucks bad.

Crash I like, but the spawn camping is ridiculous sometimes.

Countdown: I hate it, but I do decently on it. Weird.

My favorite maps are Overgrown (usually), Backlot and maybe Creek. Only because I'm not a huge rusher. More of a creeper or "serial camper" (set up an ambush, or sniping spot, kill one or 2 and move).

I absolutely loathe Vacant and Showdown. I'm not a rusher and am horrible at running and gunning, so there you have it. I'll occasionally get a decent match in them, but they are the exception that proves the rule.

Oh, almost forgot one:

Chinatown: worst. map. ever.

Vacant is probably one of the more "intense" of them all. Lot's of tight corners. Other than that..I'll be the first to mention District. Love that map, but Vacant takes the cake for me.

Uh i like Killhouse as i go good on that.
I also like overgrown though cause its all nice and bright

I'd have to say I like Vacant too. I'm more of a cautious player on most maps but on Vacant I just run and gun and I love it.

Bog would be my favourite if it didn't lag so much. Shipment is pretty intense.

Most hated are broadcast and showdown, they weren't even worth the effort of making.

My favorite is Crash. It's a very good map and you can pretty much use any gun well on that map. I hated Bog! There was too much snipers and random frags. Also Wetwork as well, too much grenade spammers.
