Default Help - Involuntary hack.
Hey, I was playing ten mins ago, Hardcore TDM on Highrise, when the game froze at the start, and some dick enabled a hack, I remember it coming up saying "God Mode". Anyway, I tried to quit, not wanting some damn hack, but it was frozen and wouldn't let me. So this hack is now enabled on my account, I was level 50 4th prestige, happily working my way along, but not everything is unlocked on my account, all the prestige challenges, the callsigns, so I have nothing to aim for now. Is there anyway I can reverse this? Get my account reset to an hour ago before this guy hacked?

Second last item in the known problems & solutions sticky!

If you play on a console then all "infection" hacks to date are stored in the system's RAM (think of it as short term memory) not the hard drive (which is long term memory) and thus disappear the next time you restart your PS3/360. Frankly, it's news to me at least if you're on PS3/360 and the hack has been saved onto your HDD and/or gamer profile/account.

I'm on PS3, not PC. Sorry, should have said.

And yeah, it's saved itself. All the effects of the hack are still on my profile. Which has ruined it. If there's no way to undo this then I'm out, 11 days playtime down the bloody drain.

Account resets are not possible on consoles unfortunately.

Infinity Ward has pretty much no concern of what happens on MW2 atm, they don't really do much for their games. Hopefully that changes in the next IW installment.
