Default how can i tell if I'M the host in a match?
i've seen others mention that they knew they were hosting.

i never even thought about it till reading posts recently, when i realized i might be bailing from a match i might be hosting?

if i know i'm hosting i guess in the future i'd stick around for the benefit of the others who are connecting.

but not having considered this i never really looked around on the screen for any "host" indicator when a match actually starts.

may not really matter much, for now i've gone back to
CoD4 most of the time.

i'd still like to know for future use, tho?

Press the Scoreboard button RIGHT when the game starts, you should see 1 person with full bars, and everyone else has low bars for the first few seconds, the one with the full bar is the Host

If you are playing on PC theres a way to change it so you have your connection shown as 10 bars instead of 5 and each bar representing 20ms. You can tell straight away who is host as they have full bars and everyone else will have about 3. Your have to google it though as I'm at work so cant search for it.

If your playing on a console well then I can't help you.

change "ping" readout from 1 bar = 100 to 1 bar = 20 here PC tweaks: gain an advantage!

i've already changed the bar display, just didn't know about showing the scoreboard right after the game started.

If you get a one-hit-kill with a sniper with absolutely no lag, not even a millisecond of lag, you're the host. Kinda hard to tell a millisecond but you get my drift.
