Ok. So I've gotten a few good kill streaks now, and supposedly when I get 5, the guy comes on my radio, and says something like "Predator online", or whatever.

So, how do I use the UAV?

In the single player game, I press 4, and it allows me to use the UAV, but I have gone through every number, and nothing works.

When I hit 4, it just shows me holding a detonator or something, and gives me 100pts?

I want to kill some people, and blow some sh!t up!!!

How do I do that?

UAV = Radar in cod4. You know? the thing that makes red-dots appear on your mini-map..

The "detonator" you're referring to, is the switch that turns the UAV on (UAV online). Next time, press 4, then keep an eye on your mini-map, this kill-streak is not meant to kill anything (only assist in the killing)...

It basically reveals all enemies who don't have cold-blooded on on your radar.

The predator missile isn't a UAV, it's a predator missile. It makes you pull out a laptop and control a missile.

UAV = 3 kills
Predator = 5 kills

I can't wait until you unlock the One Man Army perk.

The only way you'll blow things up with your current killstreak setup (assuming you just started playing), use the UAV, Care Package, and Predator Missile.

You now know what a UAV does, now a Care Package drops a random killstreak, except for the Nuke, and EAD of course. You might get lucky and pull a AC-130, or Chopper Gunner from it and easily rack up 10+ kills from them.

Fun fact, while controlling a Predator Missile, press the fire button, and it'll speed up.

Next time we play together we can go over all the Killstreaks and you can figure out the best scenario for your gameplay. One Man Army perk is what I was using the first time we played together. It let's me restock my ammo, including my grenade launcher. It pisses people off. Good to see that your game is improving too. FFA must be helping out.

Yeah you are confusing the number 3 streak (a Predator UAV which marks enemies on your map as a red dot) with the 5 killstreak Hellfire missile (Which is launched from a Predator UAV - and unhelpfully lots of people who aren't interested in military tech just refer to it as the "predator" and the 3 killstreak as "UAV")

You use whatever key you designate as a killstreak reward to bring up the UAV's live video footage. You then press attack (default is left mouse) to launch the Hellfire missile. You then use the mouse to steer the missile, pressing the left mouse once more to increase it's speed.

Needless to say you need to have "Predator" (the Hellfire missile launched from a predator UAV - 5 killstreak reward) as one of your killstreaks.

Now I get it.

When I get a 5 kill streak, I just have to figure out which button allows me to use the laptop to fire the missile now. My guess is it's probably still 4, like when I put the UAV online.

In the mean time, I've been busy just running around like a mad man, shooting everything with a red name (and getting shot) as much as possible.

I believe when you get a predator missle, it says "predator missile ready for deployment"

plus the image and name of the killstreak appear in the middle of your screen.
so...The predator has a picture of a missle
the UAV is a satelite

Dumb question here, playing on PS3...when I hit the KS button after getting the Predator, it shoots the thing as soon as I press the button, which I hate cause I can't line up any sort of shot. Is there a way to get it to not fire immediately?

Unfortunately not. Unless your on the bigger maps though, or everyone is using CB, it is often quite easy to hit at least 1 person.

yeah I can usually hit someone, but often times I notice 2 or 3 somewhere else that I can't really get the missle to in time, so I have to settle for the one.
