I feel like an idiot because I can't work out something on Den Kirson's brilliant weapon stats chart (Modern Warfare 2 | DenKirson on Xanga)
(Please assume softcore for the following figures) On Den's chart for shotguns, let's take the Spas as an example. It has a strength of 40 at close range, and the damage is 1.0 on any part of the body. Why is it therefore a OHK in most instances when you would expect it to need a damage power of 100 to achieve this? Does each pellet in the shell count as a 'bullet', therefore the enemy is being hit by multiple 40-value 'bullets' with every shot? Clarification would be great if anyone knows, thanks. |

each pellet is a bullet im pretty sure, and it tells you how many bullets are shot each time you shoot and their spread. i think.

Yeah, you're both right - I found it at the bottom left of the range decay graph, it mentions x6 or x8 buckshot depending on the gun. Cheers guys

That's why it is possible to get double, or even more, kills with one shot.
