Double xp weekend
Sorry for being a noob,
This double xp weekend - it is linked to the *cough* new *cough cough* map packs right? And from what i gather its only the yukbox getting it and the PS3 is to follow later... SOOOooooo is it only double for the vexbox or for all, and is there going to be another double weekender when the PS3 gets its DLC or what????

but i noticed on CoD4 when MW2 came out, it was double exp for a couple weeks i think

COD4 is still double XP on the PS3 at least.
As for MW2, I wish they would just align all platforms and do this type of thing at the same time for everyone. It's not as if PS3/PC users are suddenly going to abandon their chosen platform and buy an xbox just to get a map pack a few weeks early. The Double XP is linked with a couple of new playlists which only play the new maps. I think they're called "Stimulus Playlists."
It'll come with the new update, which PS3/PC won't get until the map packs are released. Source
