Killstreak counting whilst watching killcam
Say you die and have a claymore planted which kills someone after you're dead. Does that kill count towards your KS count when your next life starts?

It does. Afterlife kills count towards killstreaks as soon as you've spawned, except for killstreaks kills.

does it really? i've never noticed. Always if i die while im throwing a grenade or something i try to respawn as quickly as possible, guess i dont have to do that anymore...

I have had someone die because of a thrown semtex and it was an afterkill.
I then killed 5 people to get my predator missile and since I am not using softline (har de har har) then I think the above claim may be false.

No, you will not get a killstreak if you're watching a killcam or waiting to respawn. Once you die it ends right when you die.
