Default Playing 4v4

Hi everyone!!

I have a question..

My friend and I have 2 ps3s. We wanted to bring them over to my house and connect them so we could play Call of Duty Modern Warfare2 4v4 on two different tvs. Is this at all possible, and if so, how would it be done?

Thanks.

Exactly the same as you would set up one PS3.

Connect both to your router either via wireless or 2 ethernet cables, if you have them.

Hmm I thought so, but then I read somewhere that Modern Warfare 2 doesn't support multiplayer LAN? Is that false? (and if it is false, how do you do that?)

Or .. can you link both multiplayer games somehow by being on the same internet connection?

Well, you could just play online and set up a private match just like if you guys were both at your homes...

And on Xbox there's this thing called System Link where you do something like that, don't know the specifics...

But only 1 person can play online at a time can't they?
So by doing that aren't we only playing 1v1 and not 4v4?

What we were trying to do is .. play 4v4. Like on one ps3 you can set up the split screen and play a team game of 2v2 (because you can only have 4 people max). So we were wondering if it was possible to merge this with another ps3 with a second set of 4 people so that we could play 4v4. If that makes sense.

The problem with your suggestion pantstofry is that we only have 2 ps3s. Not 8.
