Hi Folks,

I'm new here and also with MW2, I just love the game, but get frustrated with some good strat. spots I cant reach out for.

One of them is on SUB BASE. How do you get on the highest roof of the map.

This is difficult to explain knowing one image says 1000 words.

It's near the containers where you allways have some trouble going on.
You have a possibility to go inside and shoot people from above thrue a window, direction the containers and sea. It's a very good strategical spot, but you must look out for people who attak you also from the roof but coming from that other section.
NOW there is a platfrom on the roof but there is a fens arround it. I was been shot to death from a guy on that platform! How the hell did he get there?

2the How to get on the roof wih Highrise,
Now I know you need to jump on the broken elevator. I managed to get on the roof only onces, but what's the trick, where to jump to an what to do next ones you hear climbing noise?

I hope it makes sence what I wrote, but i guess not.

There is a fence arround the platform, but there are stairs to go on the platform.

For Highrise:
you need to jump onto the platform hanging by one cable. You need to hit the left corner of it and hold UP when you hit it, by holding UP you will climb it. Once you reach the top you must jump before you climb past the top or you will fall down. You jump onto the wooden girder thingey that goes across the building, and walk along until you reach the other platform that hangs by one cable. You hop into that one, climb to the top and from the top you jump onto the roof.

If your PS3 though when you jump to the first platform you need to let go of any direction in mid air. Only after you have landed should you push up.

thanks a lot for the highrise tip, i saw some tuts on youtube, and one guy said the same, let go of anything while jumping.

Really not sure where you mean on Sub base
The only roofs I know of that you can get on are either side of the B flag in domination. These are both pretty easy to find though. They both have stairs and ladders

Yes I know, But ones you are on top, you can walk from one side to the other. There you have a fence and a platform inbetween. I got shot from someone on that platform.

Btw Highrise was fun last night, but I got shot just before I could lay down.
