Attachments and recoil
Is it true that some attachments can reduce or increase recoil on certain guns?
For instance, I heard the Holographic Sight reduces the M16's recoil. Also, codwiki claims the MP5K has reduced recoil with a Silencer and more recoil with an ACOG sight (MP5K - The Call of Duty Wiki - Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, Call of Duty 4, Call of Duty 2, characters, and more). |

No, I believe it just reduces muzzle flash, making the fun more controllable as far as Silencers go.

I think the M16 w/ holo sight was some sort of glitch or other random code that made it have smaller spread per burst than with the RDS. As far as silencers go, I have no idea though.

Yes, the M16 with Holo Sight has less recoil, and the FAL with Holo turns it until a two-shot killer.
