Default How do you turn off the stimulus package?
Sometimes I don't want to play on the new maps, so is there any way to turn it on /off?

yes there is a way >.>, just delete the maps, if your on PC should be easy, if your on xbox just go into your hard drive through the dashboard menu and delete them. Your xbox membership will save the fact that youve already payed for them and you can redownload them for free anytime you want. Should be the same for PC and i really dont know anything about PSN so GL.

I deleted the cod4 map pack but i find the mw2 one to be actually good i dont know why you would want to turn it off lol.

Well, installing and uninstalling is too much to do than I had hoped for, I just wanted a quick easy way.

I just want to turn of the pack when I try to get nukes, because people who suck probably don't play a lot and wouldn't buy the map pack, and so most likely noobs will not have the map pack? I have other ways of trying to play noobs when going for nukes and stuff too. Like, it's a lot harder to get nukes on weekdays than it is on weekends, because everyone plays on weekend, but people who play on weekdays probably play a lot more and are better.

I dunno it's all stupid I should probably just stop psyching myself out.

If you only play noobs youll never get better lol IMO just play with the "pros" and practice getting nukes on them, im sure that would be much more satisfying lol. But really thats the only way to "turn off" the map pack.

oh right
on PS3 if you go to the game section in the ps3 menu and go to the top, there is patch utility data. press triangle on the one for mw2 and click delete
You will have to re-download the 1.09 patch or whatever it is for mw2 though.
To get map pack again you ahve to go to PSN store, top right corner click "downloads" and redownload

I love bailout real good map to get fmj kills, overgrown is good but i dont like it as much as i did on cod4, and yeah the spawns on bailout are rediculous when theres a chopper gunner up all the spawns are outside with no cover nearby lol expecially when your spawning at the bottom near the tanks just not even fair.

guys, not sure if this is common knowledge but this is how to disable the stimulus pack on the ps3, go to ;

playstation network > account management > system activation > ps3 system > game > disable

apologies if you all know this, its just i really struggled finding out how

I'll explain it more. It disables all downloaded content from the PSN Store. You can reactivate it the same way.

If I wanted to remove the resurgence for like a week would I delete them off my hard drive and if I wanted them I could download them for free again?

Funny you mention about the nuke, recently I played with my mate who just level 70 with no map packs and is matchmaked with mostly non prestige noobs. After playing with him this week I've had 2 nukes!

YES YOU CAN.

Here is how on Xbox.


Click the big round xbox button on the controller and scroll right to settings.
Then go to system settings.
Then go to Memory.
Then go to Hard Drive.
Then go to Games.
Then go to COD:MW2.
Click on stimulus or resurgence.
Then click on delete.

Bam. The map pack is gone. Download again for free if you want to play them again.

I do this all the time depending on what maps I want to roll with.
