Had a weird occurence last night - planted a claymore then sat in corner of the room while my OMA changed classes. A team mate came in the room and noticed the claymore, he then did something weird. He lay down over the claymore and started shuffling in prone backwards and forwards over it. I was thinking WTF? as soon as he got up the claymore exploded but did him no harm.

There’s no way an enemy set it off – it was angled properly to go off when someone enters the room, which no-one did. Plus there was no reason for this guy to prone and move back and forth in a room when no enemy was around. It was a definite deliberate act and pissed me off no end, I wished I was playing HC so I could pop one in the back of his head.

Well, that's really weird, but didn't you have OMA anyway? You could just replace it. But as far as that goes, that's an odd glitch, sounds almost intentional: "Let's make it so if a teammate humps your claymore it goes off"

Never heard of this one. Intrigued too. There seems to be a lot of strange/hack things going on on ps at the minute. Nothing pisses me off more than a arsehole team mate. Some sniper the other day at the start of the game in derail went prone right in front of where I was prone to try and beat me to a kill. For the next 5-6 mins before he rage quit I just annoyed him. Blocked him, stood in front of him, when there was an enemy close, fire in the air and throw stuns/flashes at him. I died just as much, but if someone wants to play silly buggers I will sacrifice my go just to annoy him. Interested to know what the claymore thing is about though.

Tell me about it, being teamkilled in HC is the main reason I don't play it.
The twat even teabagged the claymore a couple of times first, almost as if he was taunting me before doing it.

In COD4 I used to see people do some underhand shit like planting their claymores right infront of my own but that hadn't really happened in Mw2 until now.
I've googled it but can't find any reference to a new glitch, but there are a few on there so one more would not be unfeasible.

I haven't seen that glitch but then with claymores, I just set em and forget em.

But speaking of claymore I did see something a couple days ago that I haven't seen before......
A dude set a claymore on top of his sentry gun, pretty slick move I thought.

That is a slick move. Set it up facing the back of the gun and when someone sneaks around to knife it...BAM.

Would the explosion damage/destroy the sentry though? Same way your own grenades/claymores can damage yourself I think they may damage your gun too.

Thats how it got me...if it wasn't for the killcam I would still be wtf happened.

They set it near the top of the hill in the poppy field in Afghan, I came outta the bunker, saw it, went to knife it, and bam.

I've seen plenty of claymores set under sentry guns and in tac inserts but that claymore on top was a first....I didn't even know you could stand on a sentry gun.

Then my smartass son told me he does it all the time.....

The claymore in a tac insert was slick too (even though it takes two people or OMA to pull off) b/c even with sitrep its hard to see the claymore.
