I'm a first prestige level 68 I think and I won't be prestiging for a long while. I'm going to enjoy the AK47, maybe get some fall camos and titles, before I even try to decide on whether to prestige. I'm not going to becuase for 2nd prestige you don't get anything, and I really don't want to have to go through another 70 levels for 1 f'n custom class slot.

Why not prestige?

Maybe not worth it if you are extremely casual and don't play often. Shit I could play 100 hours per week if I wanted.... So... I prestige. It would be boring to not prestige.

I went from rank 12 to rank 28 today. I just made 7 different UMP classes and had fun with them.
I like having a lot of custom class slots.

I would prestige because it keeps it fresh I thought I was gonna stay 3rd prestige 70 and i tried it the good points were the ak47, you can use anything but you're earning exp for nothing plus you get more classes which i think is really good, I stayed 3rd presige 70 for 2 weeks and I wish I prestiged straight away.

I would prestige buts it your choice

^im like this guy, at 5th prestige i loved the AK so i stayed 70 for a week or so to master it/get the 500 kill title, then i got bored and prestiged again and i plan to keep going until i get to 9 (not sure if i wanna go 10 because the symbol is FUGLY)

I guess. My reasoning is since I'm a casual player who probably plays 2 hours a week (sometimes more albeit not by much) it takes me about a month to get to be able to prestige. I play mostly FFA, TDM and Search, so I level up pretty slowly.

I might prestige, I might not, I'm not really sure at this point. Last time I prestiged as soon as I passed level 70 and didn't even use the AK47 for more than a few games. I also only got red tiger for 1 gun (the P90) and this time I aim for a few fall camos, and while they won't reset I want to get some gun titles as so far I only have one (the UMP).

The point I was trying to get across was I was looking forward to 1st prestige because at least I got a lot - new titles, new challenges and a custom class slot. But for 2nd prestige you get fuck all. I'm just wondering if it's worth it. There's really no reward to 2nd prestige unless you count that Round 2 title, which I probaly won't use.

I tihnk this is how it goes:

Prestige 1: You get a lot of stuff. You get the ability to unlock gun titles and emblems, as well as ones like Blademaster and Silent Veteran. You get a custom class slot, a title that reads The Prestige and an emblem with the 1st prestige logo I think.

Prestige 2: You get a title that reads Round 2 and an emblem with the 2nd prestige logo.

Prestige 3: You get a custom class slot, a title that reads Third Time Lucky and an emblem.

Prestige 4: Nothing

Prestige 5: Custom Class Slot

Prestige 6: Nothing

Prestige 7: Custom Class Slot

Prestige 8: Nothing

Prestige 9: Custom Class Slot

Prestige 10: A title that says Prestige 10, a fugly emblem and tons of messages calling you a hacker LOL

I think that's how it goes, if there's titles that you get from prestiges 4-9 please tell me as this is news to me xD

well i prestiged every other cod but not this time , im a casual gamer and it takes forever to level up , so this time im trying to max out weapons and go for the camo, funny thing is ive got about 8 days playing time and ive still not got fall camo on any weapon yet dohhh..

Nah, really though, I am conflicted as well. I have a semi-shared account with my kid brother who basically plays whenever I'm not on (which is a lot these days sadly) and together we have racked up Fall for all ARs, the good LMGS, all snipers and some subs. Not to mention mastery on everything. But now we have some obscure humiliations and precisions left and that's about it...

So I'm thinking about it, but I bought MW2 in November when it came out and we just never prestige'd because neither of us really thought about it that much, but look at the advantages;

- Custom Class Slots
- Prestige Titles
- Weapon Titles/Emblems

I guess my only last concern is I don't wanna feel like I ripped myself off a week later when all I have is the very beginnings of what I used to have
