Default Search and Destroy Question
When I first started playing Search and Destroy, I would get 1000 xp for a kill for 1100 for a headshot, now when I play, it's 500 or 550 for the headshot.

What gives?

It was double XP when you first played it. It is now no longer double XP.

I thought a headshot gave double XP? I haven't played SnD in a while though.

In double XP you get 1,000 for a kill, 2,000 for a headshot.

In normal XP you get 500 for a kill and 1,000 for a headshot.

When is it normal and when is it double? That's what I don't understand, do they run double on certain days of the week or something?

Double XP marks special occasions such as certain holidays (to encourage you to play MW2 instead of doing something else) and game events usually (eg. map pack release).
